RESIN COATED SAND
'Prosand' - Resin coated silica sand is produced by Industrial Sands for the foundry & casting industry. High quality silica sand (J61W / Tapora) is coated with a Phenolic based resin solution, dried, separated & bagged in convenient 25kg multi wall bags.
Two grades are also available in 400kg bulk bags (as listed below).
The following grades are manufactured - based on the resin percentage coating the sand.
G20 Prosand (2% resin cotaing) 25kg bags
G25 Prosand (21/2% resin cotaing) 25kg bags
G30 Prosand (3% resin cotaing) 25kg /400kg bulk bags
G40 Prosand (4% resin cotaing) 25kg /400kg bulk bags
G40 SEW* (2% resin cotaing) 25kg bags
* G40 SEW is produced using Woodhill Iron sand.
